Day 21 - I’m not focused enough for writing today. I have baseball on the brain. Tonight my son’s team is in our in-house championship game. Go Cardinals! After the game is our Fastest Man Competition and Home Run Derby, both of which Daniel is participating in. I’m nervous for him! I’m also nervous for my husband who has to pitch for three of our Cardinals in the Home Run Derby. Go Don!
Plus, tonight is Daniel’s last ever game at our home field. He’s twelve and will be graduating up to pony league next year. It’s the end of an era. :’(
While preparing for all this excitement, I am thinking about what the inciting event in my story should be, now that the odious Christopher has been terminated from the story. So I am writing a little, at least in my head.
